CAT Exam 2025
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission into MBA, PGDM, and allied management programs at over 600+ B-schools across India. Unlike CAT, MAT is conducted multiple times a year, making it more flexible and accessible for management aspirants.

MAT is one of the most student-friendly MBA entrance tests in India. It offers candidates the option to choose from multiple testing modes and multiple attempts across the year, helping them improve scores and get into a wide range of Tier 1.5, Tier 2, and Tier 3 colleges.

Qualification: Bachelorās degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Final-Year Students: Eligible to apply.
Minimum Marks: No minimum percentage required by AIMA, though participating institutes may set their own cutoffs.
Age Limit: No age restriction.

PBT (Paper-Based Test) ā Conducted in test centres using OMR sheets.
CBT (Computer-Based Test) ā Conducted at centres using a computer.
IBT (Internet-Based Test) ā Take the test from your home using your laptop or PC.
You can choose more than one mode (e.g., CBT + IBT) by paying additional fees. This improves your chances across multiple scores.
