Lingaya's University
The Lingaya’s University has been named after a great freedom fighter and writer “Late Shri Lingaya Gadde”. After India attained freedom Late Shri Lingaya Gadde devoted the rest of his life in working of the upliftment of the Society. He believed that better citizens could be made by imparting knowledge to them i.e.why he wrote several books on social causes and even translated novels written by Sarat Chandra into his own mother tongue telegu. So that people could understand and appreciate Late Shri Lingaya Gadde’s vision Lingaya’s Jankalyan Shikshan Sansthan was setup. The society worked upon imparting professional education in Northern India as well as took up the responsibility for developing rural areas.
Setting up of LIMAT in the year 1998 a step towards achiving the mission of Lingaya’s Jankalyan Shikshan Sansthan. The University has been setup in a rural area of Haryana. All the members of management are experienced in various fields and have given their contribution in the establishment of the prestigious Institution.
